Week 1 WI/Update....

Ok peeps... I know I am about 4 days late posting our update but I was ILL.  ( 2 days of migraines followed by 2 days of kidney stones and then 2 more days of migraines) HORRID but could always be worse. Anyway- we have been on target with eating. There were a couple nights that we ate a dinner that wasn't lean and clean but we watched our portions. So as of Sunday here is our WI... Sam: -4.0 Pete: -7.0






We are happy with these results for one, any loss is a good loss. For two- we havent made DRASTIC changes. Yes- we cut out all junk but we still have a normal meal once a week. We are just eating MORE of the healthy stuff, LESS      (portion control) of the things we have on that one night a week. And we are just moving more. I am not back up to my 5 days a week that I use to do but I am moving atleast 3 days a week and it's helping alot because that's 3 more days a week than we had recently been doing. So, all in all I think we are doing pretty darn good. I am very proud of my husband a 7 lb loss is GREAT! Heads UP- this week our WI will be on Friday morning... as horrible as this sounds, we are going to WI Friday because Friday night we have an outting to attend and will have a few drinks. I don't want anything to interfere with our loss on Sunday morning because it will be very discouraging. So- we will WI Friday morning then be right back on track Saturday morning!! I am off to update our tickers !!

Well the internet is off for the time being so I'm blogging from my blackberry (devoted) lol.
We are still on track, still eating good and walking. Tonight I stepped up a notch
And did the BL Cardio DVD.It kicked my ass!! But BL is comiing on so I've gotta go, later!!

So today was the day that our little "routine" got a little un-routine! Pete has been off work for 3 weeks on vacation/holiday and things have been great. Well- he went back to work today. So our new midday walk didn't happen because I was at home and he was at work. So I did a steady jog around the house (inside) and some aerobic type exercise ( stepper ) so when Pete got off of work we decided that he HAD to do some sort of exercise because things are not going to change. Today's situation is going to be the same situation all week. ( Normally we'd just go on outside and walk as a family but its COLD and DARK already) So- since I had already done some exercising today Pete was such a TROOPER and went out and walked VERY briskly a MILE and it was only 15 degrees outside!!!!! I am so so so proud of him. He is doing amazing. And of course I took a picture, bless his heart- when he came in his face was RED and his glasses were fogggy :) We both stayed RIGHT on target with food as well!! Hope everyone is great!

So- as I said we would WI today since today ( Sunday ) is going to be our normal WI day. Well we did. And I am going to share the results BUT we didn't save it and we arent moving our tickers just yet. We are doing so well we have decided to wait til Sunday to save the results and pic of the scale so it'll be more dramatic. Everyone needs a little drama, right? We like the NON dramatic kind of drama, WHAT? LoL Anyway- I (Sam) was - 4.2 lbs  in TWO DAYS. YES- I know its water weight but we have been eating RIGHT on target and walking as a family so it's keeping us motivated. Pete was -3.0 lbs , yay- so exciting!!! Again today we have been RIGHT on with our eating and we have already done our walk. We have only done a little over a mile yesterday and today each. So we are starting out slow,  2 miles in 2 days. But we also have 2 little ones walking with us. Anyway- I'm getting ready to go prep some things for the week Im so excited. Since our eating is on target and we are moving our next goal is more WATER, WATER, WATER!!!

A combined weight of....

Wow- So Pete and I weighed in yesterday and this was our results.....


For a combined weight of  547.6 OMG!!! We are more than a quater TON!  Yikes. So we weighed in and ate healthy all day. We didn't do any "proclaimed" exercising, but we did do alot of mall walking. We just got his iPod ( Nike + ) calibrated so we are about to go out for a walk. Then we will head back in for lunch. So far so good!! I have some Before pictures I am going to post later as well. we weighed in yesterday because it was the first, our start day BUT our normal weigh in is going to be Sunday morning. So- we will go ahead and weigh in again tomorrow and we will see what our 2 days have done for us. Will update later. So we went this afternoon and walked the mall. It was WAY too cold to walk outside. So- we went to the mall and did it- AS A FAMILY! We did 1.17 miles. It's a start!!! We have eaten very clean and healthy all day again today. So hopefully tomorrow there will be a change on the scale for just our 2 day span. Off to cook dinner- broiled tiliapia brown rice and fresh corn on the cob!! Ice Water!

NEW {exciting} UPDATE!!!!!!!

Ok. So notice the color change of my blog... well- I thought it was a little  TOO pink for...............
MY HUSBAND!!!  That's right! He is going to be doing the blog with me. Along with scale and before/after photos. How exciting is this?? It's VERY exciting for me, to have him doing this with me.

I changed another one of my blog templates but accidentally "applied" it to this one instead of the other one so it was/is completely out of whack. So I am going to be working on it.
